Organic Spanish Wine Production by Bodega Conde Sicilia

In the year 2000, José Conde Sicilia, a lover of nature, just by chance   whilst on holiday in the Northern part of the Sierra Nevada, came across some land which enthralled him. After finding out all the characteristics of the land he decided to buy 20 hectares. In the year 2003 he decided to plant 6 hectares of vines of the variety Tempranillo and Merlot, which flourish very well on this land and very soon they were covering the wire trellises. All the land has been certified for the production of organic agriculture. The climate is perfect, in winter the vines are covered with snow and in summer they are exposed to long hours of hot sun which is ideal for maturing the grapes.................... read full article
